What are retention splints and who are they designed for?

A retention splint is a necessary solution for those who have undergone orthodontic treatment. Retainer allows you to keep your teeth in the right position and consolidate the effect achieved during treatment.

Why is a retention splint so necessary?

Orthodontic treatment is a multi-stage process involving the repair of various types of malocclusion and tooth alignment. Its effectiveness can be impaired if the treatment is interrupted before the end or the effect is not fixed afterwards.

How long should a retention splint be worn?

The duration of wearing the retention splint is decided by the treating dentist.

The use of a retention splint selected according to the doctor's recommendations (on the upper or lower teeth, reaching to the teeth indicated by the doctor) guarantees the maintenance of the long and expensive treatment achieved. Otherwise, if this step is neglected, the malocclusion may return.

What is the order process like?

After purchase, we first send you a kit to take an impression of your teeth.

Taking an impression is very easy and everyone can handle it without any problems. The impression mass, similar to plasticine has to be put into a mold and then applied to the teeth. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes.

If you order a product for a parcel machine then you will receive a return letter along with the kit.

For international orders, the package will be prepared for shipment. You just need to go to the post office.

Once the impressions are sent back to the studio, we start working on the overlay. The manufacturing time is up to 7-14 working days.
