The night guard splint for bruxism is an individually made product based on the patient's teeth. This is what makes the night guards so effective and very comfortable to wear. Night guard are the most effective method of the protection of teeth. It is thanks to them that there is no premature wear or fatigue of the jaw muscles. The night guard also eliminates the unpleasant sound of teeth grinding. We make our products for dentists every day.

What is bruxism?

It is the subconscious grinding and clenching of teeth. The forces generated on the tooth surfaces of bruxism sufferers can be up to ten times greater than during normal conscious biting, for example, when eating. Our teeth are not adapted to such loads as a result of which serious injuries and even irreversible changes in the oral cavity or skull can occur.

It is estimated that as much as 15% of the population is affected by bruxism.

This problem mainly affects people exposed to harmful factors such as stress, genetic predisposition, neurosis, malocclusion, poorly made fillings, dental cavities and even daily habits that may have contributed to unconditional teeth grinding such as chewing gum or biting nails.

Relaxation spl ints cover the entire arch up to the seventh teeth(second molar).
All splints can be used at night while sleeping, or during the day.

Soft night guard

Designed for patients who mainly clench their teeth.
Beginning and intermediate stage of bruxism, where there is slight abrasion of teeth, headache or facial muscles.
Made of flexible and rubbery material.

Softly-hard night guard

Designed for patients with moderate to severe bruxism. For people who grind their teeth and they are visibly abraded.

The surface that rests on the teeth is made of a rubber material, while the outside is made of a hard dental material that will effectively protect against abrasion.

Hard night guard

Designed for patients with severe bruxism. Made of special dental acrylic.

Please do not choose a hard night guard in case this is the first individual night guard you will wear.

Soft rails are made transparent with a thickness of about 3mm.

Hard and soft-hard rails are made transparent with a thickness of about 2mm.

Effects bruxism:

  • Headache (temporal pain suggestive of sinus disease)
  • ear (preauricular pain suggestive of diseases of the auditory organ) hearing disorder
  • facial (jaw and facial muscles)
  • of the neck and back (tightness, stiffness, radiating pain)
  • Inflammation and bleeding gums, periodontal disease, recession
  • Limited oral mobility
  • Sleep disorders
  • Sleep noise caused by grinding teeth

To reduce the symptoms of bruxism, many treatments are proposed, such as reduction of the occlusal surface of the teeth and even hypnosis, but it is worth noting that only the night guard has a scientifically proven effect.

Night guards are the best effectiveness and comfort.

The symptoms of bruxism can be unnoticeable, which is why people often begin to seek help only when constant, even multi-location pain appears.

With prolonged and untreated bruxism occurs:

  • Teeth abrasions
  • Destruction of the bone surrounding the teeth
  • Temporomandibular joint disorders
What is the order process like?

1. First, we ship the impression set to you.

2. After receiving the kit, take an impression of the teeth according to the instructions and send it back to the address of the laboratory.

3. within 7-14 days of receiving the impression, we will make your relaxation cap.

Taking an impression of the teeth

Taking an impression is the foundation for making a relaxation overlay. With this, we will be able to create a model of your teeth in the laboratory and begin work.

Taking an impression is very easy and everyone can handle it without any problems. The impression mass, similar to plasticine has to be put into a mold and then applied to the teeth. The whole process takes less than 5min.

After placing your order, we will send you a kit with instructions for taking an impression of your teeth by yourself.

Below is an instructional video on how to take an impression of your lower teeth.
